A worker is needed to work with another Cognos developer to assist with architecting, developing, and designing reports and visualization for data analytics and reporting various and large volumes of information for the agency, state, and federal stakeholders.
A new report solution needs to be defined and implemented based on the improved quality of the data from system upgrade projects. A total of two workers will assist with data conversion requirements for the new database structure, such as mapping and developing extracts for the data warehouse. The developers will also lead a team of stakeholders in a report conversion project (Oracle). Tasks include development and analysis of requirements, data conversion, and knowledge transfer to agency staff performing management reporting tasks.
The worker will develop and design new reports; ideally a developer with both Cognos and some functional analyst skills.
The worker will be required to conduct knowledge transfer activities and guide agency report developers in ensuring the Decision and Data Support Program can continue the maintenance and support of new reporting and data collection and presentation. Effective communication skills are required for the worker.
